McKnights Senior Living The Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus chapters of the Association of Professional Journalists honored the winners of their 2022 Ohio Best Journalism Contest on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, winning top honors for their website and editor’s column.

Bowers, Content Editor Kimberly Bonvist, Editorial Director Jon O’Connor, Writers Amy Novotny and Kathleen Steele Guyvin, Art Director Mark Speakman, Graphic Designer Amina Beg, Former Special It was Caroline Saknowski, the project coordinator.
- Bowers Editor’s Column #1 in Trade Publications – Best Department category.
- Best of Show – Bowers’ book that won second place in the Best Trade Publication Columnist category.
Entries were for works published in 2021. Journalists working in newspapers, magazines, radio, television, industry, online, and university media in Ohio and those with significant influence in Ohio, as well as freelance journalists, were eligible to submit entries. Entries were judged by the Long Island Press Club.
In 2022, McKnights Senior Living He has won 22 awards in various editing competitions. Since 2016, the competition has been qualified for the first year after the brand has expanded from print magazines to include websites, e-newsletters, social media and more. McKnights Senior Living Editorial excellence has been recognized 143 times.
