Maui Academy of Performing Arts kicks off Living Room Theater Series with John Cariani’s production of “Almost, Maine.”
What should the world do when everything seems to be pulling us apart? said David C. Johnston, artistic director of the Maui Academy of Performing Arts.
Beginning Friday, September 2nd, Johnston and a cast featuring many Maui actors will begin MAPA’s Living Room Theater Series.
With very limited seating, the Living Room Theater is an opportunity for patrons to join the artists and experience the performing arts in a more intimate way. Add to that a funny and poignant play in which the citizens of “Almost, Maine” fall in and out of love under the beautiful Northern Lights.
“Mostly, Maine” is “a town in the far north and few in the United States. It’s almost non-existent because its residents aren’t used to organizing. According to the description of the event, it’s just… mostly .
