The suspect charged with the kidnapping and murder of the Memphis mother of two children is now facing new charges unrelated to Eliza Fletcher’s kidnapping.
Cleosa Henderson, 38, who was charged with first-degree murder, specifically aggravated kidnapping of Fletcher, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and rape.
A spokesperson for the Memphis Police Department told Fox News Digital that the new aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape charges were “unrelated” to the crimes Henderson allegedly committed against Fletcher. said it had no additional information to share.
Henderson has also been charged with illegally carrying or possessing a weapon. A grand jury indicted him on additional charges on Thursday, according to court records.

Fletcher was allegedly abducted at 4:20 am on September 2nd by Henderson, who was driving a GMC Terrain.
According to police, surveillance cameras captured the same GMC terrain in the area where Fletcher was kidnapped 24 minutes before he was taken away.
Henderson was taken into custody by law enforcement officials Saturday morning, but refused to tell police where Fletcher was, leading to a massive search for the missing mother of two children.

According to the affidavit, two people, including Abston’s brother Mario, told police they saw Henderson cleaning the interior of the GMC Terrain with floor cleaner and washing clothes in the sink.
Police also said Fletcher was “severely injured” and “left blood and other evidence in the vehicle that the defendant cleaned.”
Memphis police said Tuesday that Fletcher’s body was found around 5:07 p.m. announced.

Authorities have not disclosed the location or manner of Fletcher’s death, making the investigation premature and not revealing a motive.
Henderson is being held without bail in a Memphis prison and is scheduled to appear in court on September 19. He is currently facing two aggravated kidnapping counts, one aggravated rape count, two theft counts, first degree murder, and unlawful possession or possession. Weapon theft, identity theft, evidence tampering, credit/debit card fraud.
